The ML2280x series is a voice synthesis LSI built-in P2ROM 2M/4M/8M for voice and sound data. It has ADPCM2 decoder, D/A converter, low pass filter. ML2280x series realizes all function that is needed to play voice and sound data in one package. P2ROM is LAPIS Semiconductor original programmable ROM technology. Delivery period from ordering will be shorter than current mask ROM products. It can be programmed just before final testing in a manufacturing process. The ML2280x series is very suitable products in system development.
