LAPIS Semiconductor is a manufacturer for NOR Flash memory in Japan.

The NOR Flash memory of LAPIS Semiconductor is equipped with floating gate structure memory cell and a bit error correction function (Error Correction Code) to realize Superior data retention characteristics. This ECC function can prevent the bit error by data retention accidentally, after testing full bits function at shippment.

Furthermore, NOR Flash is compatible with conventional products, then it can be substituted easily. This substitution only will improve the reliability of the apparatus.

Improved output waveform quality

As four phases of output driveability adjustment function is incorporated, arrangement of the output wave form is possible by choosing output driveability in accord with the load capacity of the mounting board.

This function can reduce adjustment parts such as the dumping resistance.
