ML610Q38x is a high performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller built-in with LAPIS Semiconductor's original RISC 8bit CPU "U8 Core". The CPU core is capable of efficient instruction execution in one-instruction one cycle by 3-stage pipelined architecture parallel processing.
A number of peripheral functions are built in for home electronics use, such as the program memory(128KB), RAM(2KB), 10bit successive-approximation-type A/D converter, timer, PWM circuit for IGBT control, synchronous serial port, UART, I2C bus interface (master function), power supply voltage detection function, LCD driver, speech playback function, speaker amp and etc.
A high-quality sound generator is realized by a hardware, and built in a maximum of 0.6-W speaker amp. And speech playback function is easily implemented.
16Mbit(max.) ROM(P2ROM™) for sound is built in applicable to a variety of sound phrases (all models except ML610Q380).
And an on-chip debug emulator is built in and enables software debugging and Erase/Write operations mounted on board.
