ML22Q33x BLOCK DIAGRAM/Application Circuit Example

The ML2233x series, which include built-in mask ROM/Flash memories and speaker amplifier, are speech synthesis LSIs that can perform control in serial interface. By using the serial interface, speech playback can be easily performed simply by connecting the LSI to the existing system. The LSI enables easily control of the peripheral circuits such as LED drive and relay ON/OFF with using the existing microcontroller, as well as speech playback. Speech playback of 30 patterns and sequence output are possible. This enables a system to be easily configured by using the logic output of the existing system for the input signals.
For the Flash memory, the customer can write speech data on the customer side by using LAPIS Semiconductor’s dedicated tool.
